Why do I need an engagement session?
Obviously, getting married is a pretty big deal. Those engagement pictures? They're a pretty big deal, as well. I often hear the question, "If I'm getting pictures taken at my wedding, why do I need engagement photos, too?" Here are just a few reasons:
1. It's nice to have stunning pictures of you and your loved one in non-bridal apparel.
2. You can use photographs from your engagement session for your save-the-dates, wedding announcements and thank you cards.
3. It gives you a chance to show off that gorgeous ring the second he puts it on your finger. And men, you paid for it, so you want to show that bad boy off, too!
4. It actually comes with some of our wedding collections, so you could save yourself some money by booking an engagement session and wedding session together!
Mils Mendez Photography LLC will work with both of you to create the perfect, on-location engagement session. We can shoot at dusk when the sun is golden and warm, in the morning against a foggy backdrop, or even at night with dramatic lighting. We'll shoot, have a blast and then within four weeks you'll have the final product!

HOW DO YOU PHOTOGRAPH WEDDINGS? I love being by your side to help you before your wedding day. I'll send you a guide to help you organize your day, the best moments for the couple photos, the different lights... and it's really exciting for me to receive photos of your dress, shoes, invites...! On your wedding day, all I want to capture is the feelings, the mood, the emotions, the calm and crazy moments and all the details that make your wedding unique.
WHERE ARE YOU BASED AND DO YOU TRAVEL? I'm based in Staten Island, New York and yes I love to travel! I am also now servicing Central Florida. If travel is required, it will require a travel fee, depending on where it takes place. No worries. We can work out the details before the booking.
WHEN WILL WE GET OUR PHOTOS? You will receive an online gallery link with all your photos within maximum 6 weeks (sometimes less depending on the season I photograph your story). You can download all the photos from the gallery but also share them, choose your favorites, and a lso order prints!
HOW MANY PICTURES WILL WE RECEIVE? For a 8 hours coverage wedding, you will receive between 800 to 1,200 fully edited images. I always choose quality rather than quantity; that's why I will choose the best and more significant photos to tell your story.
